Getting you to the latest, greatest version of SDL's CMS

Content Bloom is the preferred partner of 20+ SDL clients and we are planning upgrades right now. With support for SDL Web 8.5 ending at the close of 2019, this may be a critical time for you.

SDL has released the latest version of its enterprise web content management system for powering global digital experiences. Those of you familiar with SDL and its love of name changes, probably could have guessed that another was due. This new release nixed the name “SDL Web” and is now called “SDL Tridion Sites” with the latest release being version 9.1.

We all know about SDL’s scale and flexibility. Its CMS (regardless of name) is an enterprise platform that allows customers to manage all of their digital channels and various websites. Out of the box come some excellent integrated modules to support digital marketing campaigns, automated translations, and inline editing. In short, SDL can be infinitely scaled and used to power your entire global digital brand.

But in the words of Voltaire (or Spiderman’s uncle, depending on who you ask), “With great power comes great responsibility”. Because SDL is such an expansive tool, selected for its flexibility and ease of integration, this can mean complex installations that are far from an overnight task.

In order to carry out an upgrade, Content Bloom performs an “upgrade scan” where we complete a thorough review of your technology stack, technical architecture, and API usage. We then generate a detailed report outlining our recommended upgrade process including a cost estimate to complete the work. These typically take two to three weeks of on-site, hands-on work with our customers.

Free SDL Web Upgrade Scan

We have a limited number of free scans available to upgrade SDL Web to Tridion Sites for those not currently working with Content Bloom. Why? Well, as the leading SDL implementation agency in North America, we find that once we demonstrate our knowledge and expertise, companies choose to work with us as their go-to implementation partner.

The clock is ticking and spots are filling.
