As one of the largest providers of renewable energy in Texas, this Houston-based client serves more than 1.5 million customers and provides over 23 million megawatts of power annually to residential and business customers.

We were approached to provide a total site redesign for a large American energy company. It needed to be built using their new enterprise CMS, integrate with their digital marketing applications, perform beautifully on mobile, tablet, and desktop, plus be easy for internal content and marketing teams to use.
This was not only a simple website redesign, but also a full content management installation and build with user training. The website redesign integrates with a variety of internal systems and data sources.

Content Bloom’s design and development teams worked onsite with the client’s business and technical teams to ensure that our solution was using the right technology to provide the business objectives of the redesign.
The solution combines our expertise in front-end responsive web development, Java MVC applications, the SDL content management system and digital marketing tools from the Adobe Marketing Cloud.
One example is the creation of an interface where the client’s energy customers view energy consumption. Detailed energy data is presented in a simple interface alongside comparisons with nearby customers and tips to help users lower their bills. Providing customers with useful tools to monitor, manage and compare utilization creates a positive relationship between all parties.
