Content Management for Consistent UX
CASE STUDY
Headquartered in California with global operations, ICU is a leading provider in medical technology and has been named one of the 100 most trusted companies in America by Forbes. ICU Medical develops, manufactures and sells products such as IVs, access devices, monitoring systems and more.

Following their acquisition their Hospira Infusion Systems, ICU Medical approached Content Bloom to standardize the new organization on a single CMS platform. By centralizing to a single CMS, ICU’s websites and internal applications present a single, consistent brand and user experience to visitors, clients and customer service teams.
The ICU project consisted of a few sub-projects which included: CMS Selection, Content Migration, Architecture, CMS implementation and Hosting.

Hosting and infrastructure is managed and maintained by Content Bloom. Our team ensures the CMS is always up-to-date with the latest security patches, is stable and running at optimum performance for ICU’s digital marketing teams.
To deliver a cost-effective and rapid solution we worked alongside ICU’s business and technical teams, owning and managing each project using the scrum methodology.

ICU Medical engaged Content Bloom to assist and accelerate several critical projects that were in motion. The Content Bloom team quickly analyzed the current situation, developed alternative solutions, led the option selection review process, created action plans based on the primary objectives ICU selected, quickly assigned resources to the teams and executed the plans.
All three primary projects were completed on time and on budget. The CB teams are motivated, dependable, knowledgeable and quick to execute utilizing Agile project management methodologies and are very budget conscious. I highly recommend the Content Bloom team.
